Co., Everett, WA Lines: 22 The YABS posted recently, "I refuse to have a battle of wits wtih an unarmed person" is a quote from the lips of Groucho Marx, and was uttered the first time around 1930 or something. It reminded me of my favorite Groucho story, said to be true: One day while leaving a building, Groucho was knocked to the ground by a mover who was just starting into the building with a grandfather clock swung over his shoulder. The man had turned around to speak to his partner just as Groucho arrived on the scene. The clock caught Groucho full in the chest and tumbled him right onto the pavement. He wasn't hurt, but stunned, and the man apologized profusely. Groucho just said, "Why don't you wear a wrist watch like everybody else?"
