For all of you who thought Bell Labs was the ultimate in nit-picking
over trademarks, I was looking at an ad for American Express Travelers'
Cheques in a travel magazine and at the bottom of the page was:

 * "Don't leave home without them." is a registered trademark of
     American Express.

I kid you not.
