Entitled 'Man, Bytes, Dog', it describes a person's decision over whether to buy a personal computer or a dog. He has narrowed his choice down to the Apple Macintosh and the Cairn Terrier. Among the points brought up: The Macintosh has a wonderful astrophysics package, but the Cairn has superior 'Fetch' software. The Cairn is easily networkable - it can communicate with any dog within 3 miles without any additional hardware. And all dogs run the same operating system (not IBM-compatible, however). And so it goes. If such appeals to you, read it.
