The past few articles in this newsgroup have dealt with the virtues of
the UNIX system vs the VAX, or vice-versa. When these started, the articles 
poked fun at the subject, being humorous cutdowns on either system. But the
later entries tended to get more tedious and insulting as opposed to
being funny. I must state that I am sick and tired of these discussions,
particularly because they do not belong in the net.jokes group. I am sure
that other people out there agree with me. I am not taking either side in this
argument, I am just asking all the parties involved to take their discussion
elsewhere, to another newsgroup more worthy of this type of debate. Net.jokes
is meant to make us all laugh at humorous anecdotes posted by subscribers,
not to make some of us laugh by watching others put fellow netmembers down.
