My favorite limerick is:

A tutor who tooted a flute
Tried to tutor two tutors to toot
Said the two to the tutor:
"Is it harder to toot or
To tutor two tutors to toot"
 

Also, for those familiar with nautical terms:

There was a young lady from Bangor
Who slept while the ship lay at anchor
She woke in dismay 
When she heard the mate say:
"Let's lift up the topsheet and spanker!"
