Digital Equipment Corporation(DEC) makes Ethernet Repeaters.
DEC also makes the H4000 Ethernet Tranceiver, the DEUNA Unibus
to Ethernet adapter, and a "Ethernet-In-A-Box" called the DELNI.
The DELNI 

	o is a standalone Ethernet network by itself, or
	o lets several nodes share 1 Ethernet drop

In addition, DELNI's can be cascaded.  See your local DEC saleman for
more info.
