But to install a repeater, you need to have two transceiver each tap onto one segment of the Ethernet cable. And at the ends of each cable segment, you need terminators. If your cable orientation is linear (i.e. almost along a continuous path), you can use trunk cable connectors and sex adaptor to join two segment. Make sure you are using the 50 ohm connectors not the CATV standard 75 ohm connectors. Otherwise, signal will be degraded. Also don't forget to terminate the joined trunk at both ends using terminators.
