Does anyone out there have a good reference to recommend dealing
with the 1541 disk drive?  The documentation that comes with it,
as I hardly need to point out, is among the worst in the genre.
What I am looking for is some publication, preferably book-size,
that contains an explanation of how the C 64 Kernal routines work,
how they interact with the ROM on the 1541, and how either may be
customized for particular purposes.
