   Does any one out there have any experience or information about the
Qubie' modems?  I have a IBM pc and am thinking about buying a low
priced, 300/1200 baud modem with auto-dialing.  The 212A/1200E  model
is Hayes compatible, has auto-dialing, digital signal processing,
and a 300/1200 baud rate, all for a cost of $299 dollars.  I would
like to receive some first hand feed back on the performance of this
new modem.  I would also appreciate any other suggestions of other
low priced modems with the same specifications.
