Star Micronics makes a number of good (inexpensive) fast
printers.  The Gemini 10X is 120 cps for $300 or so.  You
can get a serial adaptor for $80 ($120 with 4K buffer).

If you need more speed, try Star's Delta 10.  It prints 160
cps and costs about $450.

Both are also available in 15 inch widths.

We have about 10 Gemini 10X printers and have had very good
luck with them.
