Although the Tomy stick uses the same 9 pin D connector as Atari/Commodore sticks, the wiring is completely different. In fact, if you push the stick forward and to the right, this shorts out the +5V and ground on the Commodore, causing, at least a blown fuse (I checked it out with a DVM first, fortunately). To the store's credit, they did say the stick was not Commodore compatible, but I couldn't pass it up at that price. The Tomy does have two fire buttons, which might make it useful for those of us who use sticks for menu selection, etc. A look at the interior seems to indicate rewiring would be no big deal.
