These seem to be newer versions of the microsoft products as best I can tell, and therefore should theoretically be less buggy (I didn't find any mention of bugs one way or another in the announcement). Of particular interest is the upgrade option: owners of the old compilers can upgrade to the new ones for $100 eaches, as opposed to the $350 list price for the compilers. "FORTRAN? Pascal?
