I noticed it too when I saw the movie. Now, its been two years since I lived in New York, but the building is in fact on CPW (Central Park West), in the 80's I believe. I wish I remembered the name, but I've forgotten. It was so strange towards the end of the film, when the building is being destroyed and you have all those people milling about across the street by the park - at first, I thought they had shot it on location, but then I don't think that the tenants would have liked having their apartments destroyed, even for a major motion picture. (One must sacrifice for art; but one's apartment - in Manhattan?! Never!!)
