Back in the early 60's, on a San Francisco radio station, a guy who claimed to have given Phyllis Diller her start (sorry, I forgot his name) did a continuing farce (like Don Imus's stuff, but less trashy) called, "Bat Guano, Pride of the West, starring Lance Boyle and Luce Morales."
