Information from Lotusland

Two movies featured a group called The Stray Cats. The first, was
titled, I believe, _T_h_a_t_'_l_l_ _B_e_ _T_h_e_ _D_a_y, starring David Essex. The
sequel to it, which received a moderately wider distribution in
these United States was _S_t_a_r_d_u_s_t. These British films took a
serious dramatic look at the rise of the monster British bands of
the mid '60's (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and The
Kinks).
