I was scrounging through my news system today cleanup up the dribbles that
get left by expire (a great way to free disk space if you don't already...)
and I noticed a couple of things I thought might be of interest. I send
them out without comment.

Of the 219 newsgroups in my active file, 45 (or 20%) of them had NO activity
in them for the last 30 days (my default expire). 77 of them (35%) had less
than 10K total usage in the last 30 days.
