Well, that explains it! :-) (-: Seriously tho', how about a discussion in net.nlang (which has been pretty empty recently) about differences between American English and (if I may be so bold) `real' English. Both myself and many English people I know consider them to be two dialects of the same language, although I'm not sure that dialect is the correct term in this case. Are `American' and `English' drifting further apart ?
