Lines: 24 How do these discussions get started? This is the first I've heard of the "religious cult" rumor. However, by pure coincidence, I happened to meet a guy about 2 months ago who claimed to be the inventor of those rainbow decals. I can't verify that, but he seemed like a sincere guy, and I *do* know that his livlihood is derived from designing novelty items. He seems to do relatively well at it...my understanding is that at this point the idea is licensed to tons of companies which actually make the things. The interesting point here is ... ... I met this guy while visiting a supposedly "non-denominational retreat" which is actually somewhat affiliated with a semi-cult religion. It is loosely based on some combination of Indian Yogi teachings and the I Ching. I don't know much about that stuff, but thought it an odd combination. Anyway, it's really a low-key cult, it that's what you'd call it. Oh, by the way, this "retreat" was in Southern California ("of course" I hear all you easterners saying) not too far from San Diego. I swear this is all true. Dave "I can't believe I'm actually spending time on this" Edwards {decvax, ucbvax}!trwrb!felix!edwards
