I have gotten favorable replies from professional astronomers and many others by mail. When I stopped using net.general, I immediately received a complaint from someone in England about being cut out of the discussion along with a request to mail him all future articles. Last week I spoke with Prof. Gerald Hawkins on the phone. He seemed interested in what I was doing and graciously offered to mail me a computer model of Stonehenge to test some of my ideas. I assume that this means my ideas might have some scientific merit in his estimation. I remember reading in one of his books that when he first proposed his theories on Stonehenge he received a lot of acrid abuse from various people. I guess these things just run in cycles. J. M.
