Jittlov was *paid* to do the Mickey Mouse short, by Disney studios/etc/whatever.
Somebody would both have to convince him he wanted to do a Dr. Who piece
(which I'm skeptical about, since it would be too much a repeat of MM), and
someone would indeed have to pay him--screenings at cons isn't going to be
enough to keep the man fed and supplied with film, etc.
