I have read a few of the famous ones (Ringworld, Riverworld, Titan, etc.) but think really the first Dune book takes the cake, easily. The later Dune books are garbage. As a second choice, Asimov's Foundation series maintains its quality throughout better than all others, in my opinion. Sure, there's stilted dialog, but the creativity persists. Stuart -------
