By fast talking, Ryan is essentially saying that disassembling code is tantamount to understanding it. There are a number of other serious flaws in his explanation of P1 as well, though I still enjoyed it. A much better book on the same topic is Hogan's "The Two Faces of Tomorrow". -Joe
