This was done while inside the starbase. Question: should he not have said thrusters and if not, is not .5 impulse 1/2 have full impulse, thus to much speed to use inside the space station? 2) When Saavik and David beamed down to the planet, the ship was just heading towards the dark side of the planet. yet, they beamed down onto the lighted side.
