I instantly assumed the thing in Capt Styles' hand was a riding crop,
a sort of whip used by good old British officers to accelerate their
polo ponies.  Since horses are the dirt bikes of the rich, the riding crop
certainly adds to the image of Styles as a pompous overpriveliged ass.

Not to take away from "BC and the SD Kid", but I think "who are those guys"
is asked by bystanders in "The Ghost Busters" as well.  NOt surprising, as
that flick does a lot of "quotes" including the special effects from all
the Star {Wars | Trek} flicks.  mike k
