By the woy, would you have a wee bit o' mustid upon the pridge?] The book "My Enemy, My Ally", by an author whose name escapes me now, is now available in paperback form. Someone I know had it as of this past Saturday (6/30). A long time ago, Leonard Nimoy put out a record called "The Two Sides of Leonard Nimoy". One side was himself, the other was Mr. Spock. On the Spock side, there was a song called "Highly Illogical", which has received airplay on the Dr. Demento [radio] show. Here's one of the verses: Take the case of your automobiles. Greatest invention since man's discovered wheels. Hydro-matic overdrive, four-on-the-floor Push-buton windows, push-button door Double-barreled carbuerators rush you anyplace But you never can find a parking space. (Highly illogical.) I think this record is out of print, so if you are trying to get a copy, start combing through all the used record shops around where you live. (If anyone knows more info. about the record, let me know.) Another ST3 question: Whatever happened to Maltz, the Klingon taken prisoner? He wasn't a part of the Vulcan landing party. My guess is he's still on board the Wing of Prey, presumably in some lockup. (MAIL me the answer, please-- let's avoid the flood to the net!) Finally, a dumb joke re: ST2 (Don't say I didn't warn you! But then again, you might have heard it before...) I found it amusing that Chekov was captain of the RELIANT, which also is the name of a K-car (manufactured by Chrysler). And which car company did Ricardo Montalban do advertisements for? :-) :-! :-( "Live long, and perspire." << someone else I know said that. -- From the Big Briar-modified terminal of nfqstuwxy; Jim Poltrone (a/k/a "Poltr1: The Last of the Raster Blasters") UUCP: {hao, harpo}!seismo!rochester!rocksanne!rocksvax!sunybcs!acsgjjp (or) decvax!watmath!sunybcs!acsgjjp ARPA, CSnet: acsgjjp.buffalo@rand-relay
