Female Vulcan names began with T' and had a single syllable following, not necessarily 3 letters (e.g. T'Pring). Saavik was brought up as something of a slave well outside of Vulcan society. Ordinary Vulcan conventions do not apply to her. But, as she is a member of Starfleet, their conventions do apply to her, such as the title "mister" for any officer, used most frequently when a subordinate officer is being addressed. -- "The more they overthink the plumbin', the easier 'tis to stop up the drain."
