In the TV episode where Kirk falls into an alternate universe where
everyone is nasty (Spock with a beard, Sulu with a big scar, 
called "Mirror, Mirror"??), the alternate Kirk's mistress uses a device
with a visual screen which can spy on people in the ship. One got the 
feeling that everyone spyed on everyone there. Now, as a PARALLEL universe
the equipment of the ship should be almost exactly the same, so ....
