        Quincy's first name is John.  We found this out in one of 
the last episodes, where Quincy was debating whether to marry his 
girlfriend.  He kept getting these flashbacks to his  first  wife
lying  in  her  hospital  bed dying.  In at least one of them she
referred to him as John.
