I, for one, did not happen to like the little fellow that much at all. I admit that after so many seasons with him on the show, he did grow on me, I never really enjoyed him that much. K-9 could not stand on his own with the doctor, to begin with. There must be another companion with him. Quite simply, K-9 isn't all that interesting, although he makes a cute remark every now and then ('Piece of cake. Relevence to the key to time...precisely 0') While I'm on the subject of companions, one of my favorite gripes is Romana, specifically changing Mary Tamm to Lalla Ward. Originally, in the Time Key season, Ramana was simply fantastic. She set off the doctor beautifully with her occasional barbs about his ability. However, when Lalla Ward took over in Destiny of the Daleks(one of my most hated shows ever) she seemed relegated to be another run of the mill companion. Oh well. Back to K-9, I recently saw Creature from the Pit, or whatever the exact title was. My question, what in heaven's name happened to K-9's voice in this episode. Contact Has Been Made, Andrew Garrett
