A Convex (Dallas TX) computer runs UNIX (yes, 4.2); has 120MB primary memory; 100ns cycle time; eagle disks; many times faster than a 780 - although not quite a Cray1; sells for $500k. Has anyone had experience with one of these or more information? Bill Lampeter Laboratory for Laser Energetics 716-275-5101 bill@rochester.ARPA {seismo, allegra}!rochester!ur-laser!bill.UUCP
