Message-ID: <240@hercules.UUCP> Date: Thu, 5-Jul-84 20:02:56 EDT Article-I.D.: hercules.240 Posted: Thu Jul 5 20:02:56 1984 Date-Received: Sat, 7-Jul-84 01:28:15 EDT Organization: Tektronix, Beaverton OR Lines: 25 [bug food] I am interested in getting hold of a version of "termlib" and "curses" which have some terminal independent idea of color. I have been able to give windows in "curses" color attributes, but the method I am using is hardcoded into "curses" for Tektronix 41XX series color terminals. What I would like is a suggestion for a terminal independent way of describing the color of characters and cells, or better yet, a version of "termlib" and "curses" which has this implemented. I've also been toying with the idea of adding the ability of using alternate character sets with "curses". This is something that is obviously terminal dependent but curses seems, at first glance, to be the place to handle this. Any ideas on the subject would be greatly apprieciated.
