Recent experience led me to post this request on the net.
Does anyone have an optical character reader on their UNIX system?
What does one look for in purchasing one and how much are we talking
about?  How do the current model do their pattern recognition and how would
you specify data like font type?  I am aware of models by Wang and a Xerox
subsid, but have no addresses or points of contact.
