In the old 1.0 version, it was a normal display, but now it is quite strange. Also, I have a gripe about MacWrite. When MacWrite resides on the disk where MacWrite textfiles are, it correctly shows them all when you "bug" "open" in the "File" menu. But when MacWrite resides on another disk, say an external drive disk, it will only show the MacWrite textfiles in the "open" display that reside on the MacWrite disk. It would be very handy if it polled all connected file devices and built a menu of MacWrite textfiles for selection. Stuart
