Ok - last word on MAC<>MODEM cables !] These connections come from the comments in MacTEP version 1.87. I made my cable using the directions in MacTEP version 1.60 and it works fine. Mac Modem 1 1 (Frame Ground) 3,8 7 (Signal Ground) 5 2 (Transmit Data) 6 20 (+12V -> Data Terminal Receive (DTR)) [Optional] 7 8 (Clear To Send (CTS) <- DCD) [Optional] 9 3 (Receive Data) You can get wire, DB-9, and DB-25 connectors at your local Radio Shack. Be warned, however: the plastic hood they sell for their DB-9 connector will not let you plug it firmly into the Mac. My solution was simply not to use the hood. For the DB-25 end, you will want a "solder-type" connector. -- Thomas.Newton@CMU-CS-Spice
