A company called INTRAN whose address escapes me right now is supposed to
have better fonts for the QMS. The problem is that their fonts are for
use with METAFORM, not ditroff. I was supposed to spend last week converting
these fonts from being metaform fonts into being ditroff fonts, but instead
I got sick for a week. I will probably get to it on Monday. I will let
you all know how it goes. If anybody else out there has already done this,
or knows of some other good fonts for the QMS let me know, please. 

Oh, if anybody has proper width tables for the QMS for ditroff, please send
me that as well. I faked up one based on the APS but the results still are
only good for the humour.
