Lines: 29 Subject: Looking for PC software Newsgroups: net.micro.pc net.micro.ibm micro.ibm micro.ibmpc Distribution: usa [ This is a reposting ] A friend will soon be provided with an IBM/PC by her employer. She is an administrator for a major hospital and will use the PC for keeping track of doctor licensing, committee meetings and both general and specific doings of the medical staff. She has no programming background and this will be her first hands-on computer experience. The question is; can anyone out there in net.land recommend software that is appropriate to these applications and is at the same time VERY `user friendly' for a novice ? Please reply by mail. Thanks in advance ! -- Jim Livingston, Perkin-Elmer Data Systems Group - Santa Clara, Calif. UUCP: ..!hplabs!pesnta!jiml
