I have recently come into a Bose 550 receiver about which I can
find no information in back issues of audio mags.  Not wanting to
look a gift horse in the mouth, but wanting to know more about the
unit, can anyone point me to some information about it (preferably a 
product review or test report)?  Personal experiences are welcome.
Also, has this receiver been discontinued and, if so, why?

(Apologies to the esoterica crowd for a non-esoteric article.)
