Now, since we are on the subject of fuel economy. I have a '77 Chevy pick-up with a 454 CI engine that I use to pull a 28 foot travel trailer with. I am currently getting about 7.5 mpg. One of the things I plan on doing is adding a wind deflector to the top of the cab when I am pulling the trailer as it is catching alot of wind and these devices are claimed to give a 10-15% increase in mpg. I was also thinking of adding a water injection system, such as a Holley or Edelbrock. I then could advance the timing several degrees which should help gas mileage as well as power. Has anyone out there had any experience with these units? I would like to hear from you. Dave Williams Tektronix, Inc. ECS
