In your case, if you don't go to an Olds dealership, go to a dealership with a similar car, such as the Buick Electra being similar to the Olds Regency. If you can't get satisfaction, call the local GM Zone Office. A Zone office is a regional center for GM, and is the next step if you have a problem with a dealer. Your owner's manual lists the location of the nearest Zone Office. It also lists the 'last resort' number in Detroit. I once had a problem with a dealership, and complained to the Zone Office. The Zone Office did not respond real well, so I called Detroit. The response was amazing. The Zone Office sent a GM person to the dealership, who met me at the dealer. My problems were resolved right away to my satisfaction. This experience served to increase my confidence in GM. Jim Donnelly hplabs!hp-pcd!jimd
