I somehow expected Lord Foul to appear everywhere (after reading all six TC books, I got use to LF always being around...), but the stories are all quite interesting and distinctive. One of the short stories in the book, interestingly enough, is "Gilden-Fire", a chapter that was removed from "The Illearth War" to trim the book down.
