Go ask some long-time speakers of English what "slut" means.  Will they say
"sloppy person"?  No, they will say "woman of loose morals" or some such thing.
The ancient history of the word is not relevant, the current usage is.
Hence, Yehoyaqim used the word properly.

We can debate about whether MJ dressed in a sexually enticing manner,
but that's another issue altogether from the meaning of "slut".
