Lines: 18 For Official Use Only Bug Zappers. Please folks, if you own one and live in a close neighborhood, DON'T leave it on all night. You may take great comfort in your bed that the gadget is zapping the local bug population, but there is nothing more annoying to a neighbor who has to listen to the constant Snap, Crackle, and Pop drifting through his bedroom window all night. Please shut the thing off when you retire. Zapping all night is not going to amount to a hill of beans as far as the local bug concentration is concerned. By all means use the zapper when you are outside if it makes you feel better, but think about the neighbors when you go in. I have a neighbor who has two of those industrial sized zappers. They only left them on once. Everyone in a three house radius mentioned it the next day. The guy did not keep it on all night again, but then again he is very considerate. T. C. Wheeler
