Try this: "Brunch Corn Bread", from "Sunset Ideas and Recipes for Breakfast and Brunch" (Lane Publishing Co., Menlo Park, CA 94025). It makes good muffins, too (I usually bake it in a sectioned cornbread skillet). 1 c. baking mix [Bisquick, et. al.] 1 c. yellow corn meal 1 Tbsp. baking powder 2 eggs, beaten 1 c. milk 1/3 c. honey 4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted and cooled Stir dry ingredients in large bowl; blend liquids separately in small bowl; mix just until moistened. Pour into well-greased 8" square baking pan; bake at 400F for 25..30 minutes. Andrew W. Rogers ...{harpo|ihnp4|ima|esquire}!inmet!andrew
