Lines: 20 <--> AT&T BELL LABORATORIES VIDEOTAPES AVAILABLE (probably an ad, but I'm posting this anyway at the request of the producer, who says they're well done) The first three of a planned series of videotapes on Software Technology are available through the Hayden Book Company in New Jersey. The first two tapes explain the philosophy and virtues of the UNIX* operating system with interviews of the inventors and developers at AT&T Bell Laboratories. The third tape, "Software Design Methodologies," deals with functional decomposition, data flow design, data structure design and programming calculus. Additional tapes on software quality, expert systems and algorithms are planned. Cost: approx. $300 each. Write to the Hayden Book Co., Dept. CA-44, 10 Mulholland Drive, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604 (Tel. 201-393-6315) The series is being produced by AT&T Bell Laboratories. Please do not reply to me. The AT&T-BL producer, J.R. Friedman, asks that all inquiries go to Hayden. A.B.Myers/AT&T-BL/...whuxl!abm
