I am in the market for a new motorcycle and am quite taken with the new
Honda VT500 (not a new DEC terminal :-) Ascot. This motorcycle has every
thing that I would want in a bike: vee-twin cylinder, four plugs-six valves,
water cooled, shaft drive, flat-track styling, mid-sized displacement,
good price, etc. BUT does anyone actually own one of these things? And would
they give an endorsement (or warning!) for (against) buying one?

I will summarize all results to the net (or if I can't wait and I go ahead 
and buy one, I will give my impressions).

Thanks all. And don't smile when you ride, those bugs are murder to clean off
the pearlies.
