Gee.... this group HAS been getting interesting lately. Good thing
a friend told me to check into net.flame and see what's up.

Anyway..... doesn't anyone else but me think this whole thing
[the original article by harpo!jrl] was a put-on ??  He/she
certainly did a good job of discrediting some "conservative"
concerns [ welfare abuse, homosexuality, our system of justice, etc. ]
by blowing them all out of proportion  [ there's some latin
phrase that goes here... reducto ad absurdum or something like
that :-) ].  I dunno... I certainly got a good laugh out of
the article until I saw that some people took him/her
somewhat seriously. Maybe I'm wrong, but I quite simply cannot
take the original article seriously ( and I seriously doubt that
it was meant to be ). Anyways... I'd like to take up the
opposite challenge and create a rather silly....
