Is anyone else out there offended by media hype for national sports
events?  I refer to designating the US national baseball championship
as the "World Series", etc.  This embarrassing hype fell to a low
with the recent NBA basketball championship.  CBS touted it throughout
as the "National Basketball Association World Championship".  Need I say
more?
