do people REALLY have to include the ENTIRE contents of the note you
are talking about?  if you're stuck using vnews/news/rnews/inews
or whatever else -- sympathy, sob etc.  for those of us on notes,
it's a pain to see a letter, and then see the entire thing again.

why doesn't everyone protest about how CRAPPY the '*news' programs are?????
not that 'notes' is gods answer to reading net-stuff, it has some things
i'd like to see changed.  

when i first came to indian hill, i was told i could use a '*news' 
(pick your favorite notes program)  YUCHHHHH!  *news probably represents
the most UNSTRUCTURED way you could look at a series of letters and
replies.  notes has a lot more structure.  not perfect, but....
i just about gave up on even trying to read net stuff.  luckily, i 
scouted around on various machines and found a 'notes'.  *news has a 
TERRIBLE interface.  so bad, I am forced to see people REPEATE other 
peoples letters.  

SOOOOOOOO, (the brunt of this letter)  if you're stuck using '*news'
RISE UP!!!  you don't have to put up with that kind of trash ANYMORE!!!
send a letter to someone in charge on your machine.  tell them

	i'm mad as hell at *news and i won't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!

give me 'notes', or give me NOTHING! there's something better out there.
DEMAND 'notes'.  ask them to send off for info on 'notes'.  (don't ask
me where, i'm just a plain ol' user.  a good computer admin. will know)
or find out about it yourself.  simply forget about *news.

ps:  i couldn't care less what you read net junk with, but
i HATE seeing all these repeated letters, which simply is rarely
when using 'notes'.
