Kovar was pretty insulting. You did not give any names, you just called everyone male at UCSD liars,cheats and thieves. I know Dave Pare, and can say that he would never promise to copy Empire onto any magnetic media, since he doesn't even have the source (officially). If you knew better, you would know that you cannot get the Empire source legally, and if you wanted the distribution package, write to the author for it. I am personally offended that you would make such a broad denounciation, and start it out with "I don't want to offend anyone." In the future, clarify who, what, where and when before you start slandering people. As a UCSD Student, I am replying to this absurd article, and I urge everyone at UCSD and San Diego, or anywhere for that matter to flood David C. Kovar (dartvax!davidk) with lots of mail, so as to teach him his lack of proper net etiquette.
