A safe start when trying to kill a leprechaun is to
get as far away from him as possible, wield your bow
and pump him full of arrows. Hopefully he'll be dead
before he reaches you, or at least weak enough for 
you to take him out with a hit or two from something
more substantial than the bow & arrow
